The main reason for our HK trip is to see Disneyland as my sister's bday gift to her beloved son, thus, our 2nd day was spent here. Warning though, HK posts will all be heavy with photographs. The cam whore is in the house!
I have visited a lot of blog sites and browse disney site for numerous times just to research for this trip and it has helped us a lot in saving money and time. So guys, always research before going to unfamiliar places.

First we went to Burlington Arcade to exhange our dollars. Ate Yolly's rate is higher compared to the black market. She also gave us lots of tips on how to commute in going here.

We bought our octopus cards in TST MTR station. It is highly adviceable to buy an octopus card when in HK as this is very useful in your HK tour. You can even reimburse the excess (at the airport) efore going back home.
can't miss your destination with this guide |
our octopus cards.. HK$100.00 for initial load |
From TST MTR station, we embarked in Lai King station, then boarded Sunnybay then it was Disney already. You can't miss it since Mickey logo is all over and HK has a very organized and systematic MTR.
HK MTR is so organized and effective |
You can't missed the train since it is Mickey inspired as well. It was very exciting riding this train as it features lots of attractions, too. Everything in it is saying this is Disneyland's train.
he's so excited for to ride |

embarking in Disneyland |
you still have to go up to get tickets |
You still have to walk long distance to arrive at the ticket booth. Since it's Halloween, there is quite a lot of people mostly Chinese from the main land. I'm quite pissed off with them as they keep on bumping me. They are always on a hurry.
this is just the facade... it's still a very long walk before the ticket stand |
don't want to be at lost.. |
the MTR station |
welcome! |
Even if we already had an online ticket, we still need to convert these into the real tickets so we still have to line up. No problem with that since que is quite fast.

With tickets already in tow, we ready ourselves for the tour.

Every attraction is begining to pile up with lots of people beginning with the photo ops areas.
lots of people for photo ops with Mickey and Minnie |
Start of the tour would be the Main Street where the parade is being held.
theater |
We needed to energize ourselves first before embarking on the long walk.
let's have breakfast first |
Gosh! Everything inside this park is pricey. But we have no choice since bringing of any food and beverage is strictly prohibited. They are really checking your bags so just comply.
the expensive yet cute mickey pancake... |
just one for 3 of us... ^tipid mode^ |
Pancake taste is same with ordinary pancakes but you are paying for the presentation and not the taste I guess.
bird feeding time.. at nakihati pa mga birds samin |
We had enjoyed feeding these birds and sharing our food with them. We are now ready for the main attractions. Another tip guys - please wear comfortable clothes and footwear as you will walk a lot. Don't also carry too much baggage. Last but not the least, be sure that your cameras are well conditioned for this tour. It's an advantage to have extra batter pack, too. They is no greater souvenir than nice photos. : ) Disney souvenirs are really pricey.
