Pampanga| Cafe Fleur

happened on September 17, 2016

We intendedly left the best for last.  Our last stop, dinner, is in this homey, heritage home coverted restaurant in Angeles City.  It's one of the most highly recommended dining places so we are curious what's the rave is all about.

the facade
Interiors is a combination of old and new pieces.  Kitchen facilities are new but the setting is of the old country home.

outdoor setting - kinda malamok

Our reservations is on the second floor but since we were only four, we transferred downstairs.  My only comment is that the space was too cramped.  The tables are so near each other that you can easily hear your neighbors talking.  Obviously, the space was maximized to accommodate more diners.

The food is authentic Kapampangan cuisine with a twist like Kare-kare in Macadamia nuts sauce, which is their best seller.  Since we are all still full from the late lunch we had, we only ordered a few.

my favorite - bangus relleno

least favorite - fried fish fillet
My verdict?  great location, ample parking space, homey interiors and delectable food.  The price is so affordable, too.  200% agree that this place should not be missed for a food trip in Pampanga.
