Pampanga| Clear Water Resort

happened on September 17, 2016

the view of the manmade lake
It seems I'm the only remaining Kapampangan who is unaware of this resort in Clark, Angeles, Pampanga.  Boo me!  I can't promote my province for I'm not well familiar of its attractions; just food hehehe.

Luckily, this was our "killing time" stop during our food tripping here before having super late lunch.  The staff are kind enough to give us a tour of the whole resort.  We were even provided with a golf cart and driver to roam around.

Amenities include an outdoor pool (huge with one for kids), volleyball court, man made lake (for boating and kayaking) and fishing area.

The view is stunning and refreshing!  We started with the pool and volleyball area.  Photoshoot galore.

Next are the rooms.  Though the view is stunning, I find the rooms to be outdated and smelling molds.  They are super spacious but I doubt if the kids will love it here.  The room offers the basic facilities.

They also have some tents for a big group.  Again, these rooms seem to be not well maintained.

They have newly built villas that accommodate bigger groups but there is no view of the lake.  So, I don't think I will like to stay here because of this.

The best accommodation is the Lakeside House.  It has the view of the lake from your window.  It's good for honeymooners.

They also serve food but I didn't see the dining area. Perhaps, room service will do.

If you enjoy the basic activities like swimming, boating and fishing, then definitely this place is highly recommended as it's so near Manila.  But if you want the best of both worlds - vacation and partying, then this is not the one for you.

Here's the price list:

Lakeside House - Php6,270.00/night
