Malapascua Island| Kokay's Maldito Dive Resort

happened on August 22, 2016

Since we were stuck in our hotel for the past two days due to bad weather conditions, we planned to stay for dinner in the main town to try other restaurants.

We were dropped off at this side so we just stayed in Kokay's as we have seen it is a nice place with a nice ambiance.

It's a resort fronting the busy beach.  The front beach is used as a docking area so I doubt if their guests can enjoy swimming here.  The sand is still pristine white though.

Guests need not be bored while waiting for their food to be served.  There are provided recreations to kill time.

There are some cozy lounges, too.

I can say that the food is great.  They are not cheap but mid range and with big servings.  These are our orders:

this home made gelato is not to be missed

hubby also enjoyed it

We stayed until sunset.  At first, I thought there will be none but for some seconds, it made us wonder.

After sunset watching, we just bum around and people watch.  I love seeing laugter on children's faces.  They enjoyed being photographed.  Life is really so simple here despite of sprouting hotels and tourists attractions.

Though the resort seem nice, I still wanted to stay in a secluded place like Tresher.  You can just visit here if you miss the noise.

These are some of the guest houses that you can stay in if you prefer to be in the main town:
