The entry to my new workplace is just in time to join the yearly team building which was held in this famous wedding venue. It's just a day tour so we left the office very early and still have reached the place after 2 hours of land travel due to heavy traffic. If you are already familiar with Bulacan roads, you'll understand that a minor road repair or any road mishap can already cause a major traffic. That's just exactly what happened to us.
It's located in Baliwag, Bulacan, along the river and quite far from the main road. It's not easy to find so waze can be your friendly companion going there. You have to allocate at least 1.5-3 hours for this trip.
Living up to its name, the area is surrounded by lush green, literally anywhere you lay your eyes upon. It's communing with nature in a confined place and not too far from the bustling city.
The Greenery, formerly known as TGI Pavilion started in 2001 with only one venue, but today it offers three-themed-based venues - pavilion, lighthouse and open garden. It's a very ideal garden wedding venue offering an amazing view of the river (source).
Aside from weddings, it is also becoming famous for other events and occasions. One of which is the team building. They have a ready set up for this purpose. Any group will have nothing to worry about except for the payment of course since they will completely facilitate it. They have quoted us Php1,200 each person for a group of 39 persons. This package includes AM and PM snacks, lunch, facilitator, use of team building facilities, pools and cabanas.
In the afternoon, it's our free time, so we just eat, hang around and swim. I took time to take pictures of the place.
Another way to enjoy this place is to rent some villas for an overnight stay. I strongly recommend this to fully enjoy the place. Accommodation is at this Europe style row of villas and one American type grand villa (for bigger group).
Current Room Rates:
Single Villa - Php 4,400.00 for 2 persons
Single Villa - Php 6,080.00 for 4 persons
Grand Villa - Php 23,000.00 for 10 persons
Since it's summer, it's very hot and uncomfortable staying in the cabanas. There is no fan provided so you have to find a way to find comfort. Good thing at that time, the cottages on the other side (more breezy part) are empty so I had the chance to stay and sleep there.
After snoozing for a short period of time, we have tried the infinity pool. It has two infinity pools, both overlooking the clean river. It's quite amazing that the river in this part is not yet polluted. A lot of people are taking a dip on this river. I wanted to join them and reminisce my childhood.
I stayed mostly at the farthest end of the pool where I watched the people swimming. It was a refreshing sight. It's also very relaxing as well.
Other activities include kayaking and jetski, They also offer massage, hair spa, etc. You can also rent a bike or ride the train to roam around. It's a total relaxation place.
We also enjoyed the food. Our lunch consisted of 3 viands and fruits for dessert.
I would highly commend the helpful and very attentive staff. They will gladly accommodate all your requests.
The downside only is the limited number of shower rooms for the girls. There are only 2 available shower and 2 toilets for women on the pool side. There are some provided outdoor shower rooms below but quite dirty and unsecured. I hope they can do something about this and ensure that enough facilities can accommodate their day tour guests.

Our activities were all confined in the morning. Thus, even under the scorching heat, we finished all our activities. The activities were challenging but not death defying. It has served its purpose - to value teamwork and strengthen camaraderie among members..
