Cebu Series: Tumalog Falls

very enchanting falls..
Still wet from our whale watching and after breakfast (at the same resort), off we go to Tumalog Falls.  We rented a mini van for Php150.00/person (from original offer of php180.00).  The cost is still high but there is no other mode of transportation available at that time and we are in a hurry already.

Going there will take about 15 mins.  Half part of the journey must be by foot. You can see that the government is serious in making this a tourism spot since there is already a cemented road going there so walking is just a breeze.  You just have to be careful since it has a stiff slope.

start of trekking and you can't even hear the falls yet from here

my companions starting the trek while i'm enjoying the view

white mountain... reminds me of Kapurpurawan rock
We didn't expect much from this falls since there are not much reviews and features about this, in blogs and other web sites.  We just checked it out since we are killing time in Oslob.

But we are in for a big surprise.

the facade

still not yet excited but it's huge
and then we are completely speechless!!!!  enjoy the view folks...

feeling si maganda hehe
We really enjoyed this falls.  I can stay here for the rest of the day but we have to return to Cebu and that is another 3 hours land travel.

We decided to make our return easier by renting a motorbike at Php30.00/head (another adventure). I'm really afraid of riding a bike so I told the driver to be really slow.

one for each person and the drivers are so skilled and kind

kabado ako dito baka sumemplang... talbog ako hehe

TG! I'm still alive

We ended this trip with fresh buco juice (at Php20.00 per piece).  It was so sweet.

I'm glad that we pushed through with this falls. It is the most enchanting falls I've seen so far.  Next are the ruins in Oslob town.  See! this small town has a lot to offer.  Thanks to the net, we are now more aware of other interesting places to visit.
