Images of Panglao Island

We Filipinos are such lucky souls that our country, being made up of 7,100+ islands,  is blessed with lots and lots of nice beaches.  Panglao Island is definitely one of them.

Boracay maybe the most famous but Panglao definitely is at par with its pristine white sand.  The only difference is that it's still not yet exploited and commercialized.

It's high tide in the morning so swimming is enjoyable.  There are even some fishes swimming with you.  Looking for nice shells and dried corals is also an enjoyable activity in the morning.
A lot of boats are docked during the early mornings as they are looking for clients for an island hopping.

how about sand castle building?

It's low tide in the afternoon so it's best to just walk around the shore and look for some marine creatures like starfishes.  Starfishes are abundant here, in different sizes and forms.

I'm always looking forward for sunsets here.  It's instantly make the mood romantic.

Since we stayed in Dumaluan, I recommended to our group to experience dining in Bohol Beach Club which is just beside it.  You can differentiate a high end resort from the lower ones in terms of services.  I love their service here.  They're really professional.

The food is priced reasonably and tasted good.  You also don't need to wait long for your order to arrive.

 They are even kind enough to show us their villas. I would love to stay here someday.

Another activity is diving which my companions are not yet interested in.  There are PADI certified instructors here.  You can also avail of the intro diving.

You must also take note that its shore is unlike Boracay's, that is full of party clubs and are open till the morning.  Here, comes 9PM, everybody is (almost) all sleeping.  It's totally a place for getting the much need rest and break.
