The ever "kaladkarin" me tagged along with my friend's company's yearly outing and anniversary celebration. Fortunately, I have a very understanding and supportive hubby that I can go along to wherever and whenever I please sometimes (or most of the times hehehe).
We left Manila so early but still arrived in this place with the sun already set due to the heavy traffic flow in Laguna and Tagaytay.

Aquaria is a residence resort being located in Calatagan, Batangas and currently being developed by Landco Pacific Corporation. They are building condominiums and a community here. Though there are still no residences and accommodations built yet, the resort is already operational since 2013. For now, it only accepts day tour packages. Rate for adults is P500/person.

view from the slide tower.. just half of the pool |
At the entrance is where the reception and bath house are. I find the bath house not strategically located since it's a long walk from the pool and most particularly the beach area.

Then you will be welcomed by the enormous pool with the kiddie pool as the façade.

Company outing is usually being held on the beach area since this is the bigger area. It's large enough for some team building and water activities. There are tents provided but still very hot during mid afternoon.
We shared the beach with at least 4 more other companies conducting their outing and team building, too.

Bringing of outside foods is allowed but with a corkage fee. Since it's a company outing, it's still practical to bring food and just pay the corkage fee of 5k pesos instead of availing their food package (at least 1,500 per person for 3 meals).
There is no shower room in the beach area so you need to go to the entrance before getting a shower. Yeah, this is quite a hassle but there are comfort rooms so you can change clothes in these.
Kayaking and banana boating are just some of the water activities being offered. If you do not want to shell out some cash, you can just do some activities on your own.
Not a beach fan? The gigantic pool is the best option then. This pool was divided into six parts and with cabanas for each section. You will get the feeling of having your own pool (fronting your rented cabana).

storage nook |
It boasts its spiral slide which is quite safe for anyone; though only 10 years old and above are allowed to use this slide. You need to have a partner here since it's mandated to use the figure 8 inflatable which is for 2 persons. This slide is so much fun I tell you.

We had a nice experience here but I would prefer that they can offer accommodation already for overnight packages. It'll be more relaxing to spend the night here since it'll take almost 6 hours of travel time. For now, I will still opt for its neighbor "Stilts" since this resort can offer more activities with better facilities and amenities even though their pool is small compared to Aquaria's.
We left before sunset since we are still anticipating the heavy traffic flow going back to Manila. Thanks bes J for this weekend getaway! muah!

If you want to visit this place, always check metrodeal's offer. I saw lately that entrance can cost P199/person only.
