Don't go to Macau if you are just planning on staying inside your room at night (except when you enjoy staycation more). Macau is more alive at night with its bright colors and highly spirited surroundings.

After a quick rest at the hotel, we return to San Malo (which is just a few steps from our hotel) to see the streets at night. It is now teeming with people and all of the shops are so alive. We went with our usual window shopping.

We also tried some street food for our dinner.

Then off to see some more of the hotels.

1st stop - Old Lisboa
This is the mother of all hotels here. Its design can attest to that. These days, this hotel is more of a meeting area for escort girls.

2nd stop - Wynn Hotel
Another grand hotel. This is where Mike works so he knows the ins and outs of this hotel by heart including the show schedules.

At the entrance, there is the dancing fountain. It's quite a wonder to watch the water dancing. The best part of it, the show is - it's for free.

We also went to MGM hotels which features a butterfly sanctuary. There are still some few hotels that we were not able to visit since it's already past midnight after we are through with MGM. Those are now on my bucket list for my next visit.
All I can say after visiting the hotels in Macau is - our hotels here in the Philippines look so inferior compared to these hotels. "Biglang level up na din mga standards ko sa mga hotels ngaun".
