After a quick rest, we’re
off with our feet again.
At the entrance there is a gold plated carriage. You can also have a picture taken with the guards in front of the hotel which are dressed up like British guards.
For lunch, we went to the only mall here – New Yohann Mall. It’s like Rustan’s. The difference is that the groceries and food section are located at the topmost of the building. Like most of the establishments here in Macau, the mall is so fabulous and clean. They even have sculptures inside the department store.
I love the concept of dining (in this mall). There is an array of fast food shops to choose from - Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Western. Since there is still a language barrier with the attendants, you will just pick the food you like by pointing or saying the code of the food. You will then be given a paper with your order written on it. Next is to pay at the cashier. Then you will just wait for the code to be flashed at the shop’s screen.
After lunch we went back to our hotel to ride the shuttle bus going to the Hotels/Casinos. You don’t have to spend a single cent in your hotel hopping experience in Macau. Just know where the shuttle bus stops are.
Before having lunch, we passed
by the Grand Emperor Hotel, owned by no other than the famous Jacky Chan. It’s known for its display of gold bars on
its floors.

1st stop – City
of Dreams
This hotel is famous for
their dancing water and huge LCD monitors featuring mermaids. We didn’t not wait for the dancing water show
but we were awed with the mermaids. They
looked so real and they just pop out on the screen. The
ceiling has an enormous dragon on it. It
is so grand.
Before crossing the street for Venetian, we stop at the street to watch a dance show (Sands' promo). Mike even joined the group.

2nd stop – Venetian Hotel
This is the famous hotel in
Macau due to its Venetian outdoor setting and shopping malls. The sky looks so real. The clouds seem to be moving while you walk along its streets. Most of the famous branded stores are here. It's a shopper's paradise.
3rd stop - Four Seasons Hotel
It is also located inside Venetian. We rested our tired feet here before embarking on a very long and tiring walk again.
4th stop - Holiday Inn
This is where we rode a shuttle bus going to Galaxy. The theme of this hotel is nature park. Lots of trees and a manmade pond inside. It's like being lost in a forrest. They have Hawaiian dancers to welcome the guests. Lots of people are also checking in this hotel proving a lot of Chinese gamblers.
5th stop - Galaxy Hotel
For me, this is the grandest of them all with the biggest area of them all.
The lobby is decorated with crystals of different heights and colors. They are wonders to the eyes.
Then at the center is their main attraction of gigantic diamond descending from above being lighted with different colors depending on the melody of the song being played. I was not awed by this attraction actually. I was more attracted with the displayed Ferrari as a grand prize.
Like Venetian, there is a lot of shops and restaurants here. You can buy the famous egg tarts and beef jerkies here.
Every corner of this hotel is grand I may say. Everything is in big proportions.
The back side is so grand as well. A lot of nice cars are here. There is also a nice garden area at the back. I'm just in awe in everything. We ended our tour in this hotel at early evening. The shuttle bus area is also organized and nice.
One good thing about Macau is - a lot of our kababayans are working here. In every corner you will meet a Pinoy. This is good for our economy of course.
Macau tour doesn't end here. Next - other hotels and Malo at night. Thanks for dropping by.
