It's More Fun in the Philippines - the Lego way

I am always fascinated with 'toys for boys' - from cars, construction trucks to Lego building blocks.  Maybe I'm a male in my previous life ^_^.

For the past few months, Lego is showcasing exhibits with different themes at the Block in SM North EDSA.    Fortunately, my office is near this mall so I was able to witness every exhibit.  Unfortunately, I was not able to take pictures from the previous exhibits.  But for this year's Philippine Independence Day celebration, I made sure to have a souvenir.

They have created the Philippine map.  On top of each major island, they built and showed some of the famous tourist destinations.  It was an amazing creation; making sure of the tiny details.  Kudos to Lego for this!

While taking shots and marveling at the magnificent creations, I was also reminiscing of the places I've been to.   I'm quite amazed that I was able to travel 90% of the total famous destinations featured here.

So let's have a tour of the Philippine Island....for free!

A.  Luzon - Let's start with the biggest island.  It has no many beaches but still a lot of interesting places to go to.

At least with Lego's creation, it seems we already went to these places.  It just showed how beautiful Philippines is.

There is also a play area where kids and even adults can practice their creative minds and hands.

it's just not for kids but for adults, too
