Our last stop for this trip are the town attractions beginning with the Provincial Capitol, the Lagoon Park, Negros showroom and Negros National Museum.

There's nothing much to see in this area. The lagoon is big but with dirty water though there are fishes in it. They could have properly maintain this one.
Completing this trip before leaving Bacolod, we headed to the Museum for our last stop. Museums are a great venue in learning history and culture. It's Negros history this time. Entrance fee is P100.00. It's quite pricey so I'm expecting a nice museum here.
After paying (the entrance fee), there will be a tour guide to tour you around while telling historical facts about Negros starting with these paintings on its origin; including folk tales.
After the paintings, came the "colonization section" featuring artifacts from Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and American regimes. There are also some artifacts proving that the Chinese have been in this area before the Spaniards since bartering is already present during those times.

The most interesting part is how the Negrenses strategically plot against the Spaniards with just fake canons and canon balls made up of local materials like bamboo and coconut.

There is a spot here where they show case local artworks. This proves that Negrenses are artistic as most of their artworks are really amazing just like these of an 18 year old artist.
There's a toy collection section (from the Montelibano family) but off limits for any picture taking. It was my first time to see this vast collection of toys. I love her Christmas collection. These were donated to the museum with the condition that they will be well maintained and not be photographed by anyone. My entrance fee payment is worth it for this.
Just like most Museums here, they also have a souvenir shop here, most of which are made by their famous artists.

Visiting Bacolod is such a wonderful experience for me. The people are so accommodating and their food so delectable plus a lot of adventures await anyone. I will surely return to this charming place.
