Cavite| Hacienda Isabella

happened on June 1, 2017

Kudos to our organizers for choosing this homey place.  I love everything about it.  The best part - I got to enjoy it for only Php200.00 (employee's share for our office team building).

Getting there is quite a challenge as it is located in a remote village in Indang, Cavite.  Added to this is the heavy traffic in the Metro and Tagaytay.  Travel time became more than 3 hours.  We were already tired when we arrived there.

how will this look when darkness come?
But it is a real marvel.  Entering the huge gates and seeing the intricate designs keep me in awe.  It's really a hacienda. Every nook and corner were well taken care of and with interesting display pieces. Knowing Kuh Ledesma as celebrity, it's no wonder if her place is stunning.  This by the way is named after her only child and daughter, Isabella.

It feels like being in a beautiful dream where you will visit your wealthy grandmother in the province.

Let's start with our day tour...

the main door

The receiving and dining area is big enough for 50 or more persons. I love all the antique displays here.  You know me, a sucker for vintage!  I took my spare time clicking and appreciating the old fine pieces they have.

We were also given a huge room for our things and if we wanted to rest.

We spent two hours with the team building activity before having lunch.

This is our lunch.  Food is great!  I love all that they have prepared.  Downside - too many flies at that time.  Even if it is covered in screen windows and doors, the flies just kept getting inside and spoiling our lunch.

yummy lunch

Them it's swimming time.  The pool is located at the farthest end.  I'm quite disappointed with the pool.  It's too simple and basic compare to its surroundings.  But we were provided with a videoke so everyone is happy.

having fun
I'm sorry, I cannot give the exact price for the overnight accommodations but we paid Php1,500.00 per person for the day tour with team building activities, food, and use of 4 rooms, videoke, volleyball, ping pong table and pool .

Please visit their facebook page for more details.  But one thing is for sure, this is a "must visit" if you want some peace and quiet.  It is also a highly recommended wedding venue.
