Bataan: Anvaya Cove Beach and Nature Club

Anvaya is an exclusive membership resort developed and being run by Ayala Land in Morong, Bataan.
We are fortunate to be invited by a dear friend, whose brother is a member, to try this resort for Windangan's yearly summer vacation.

A member is required to accompany the guests during weekends so we went there on a Friday. We really wanted to book for a room even for a night but due to budget constraints, we opted to stay for two nights in Subic Homes, our ever dependable place to stay.  We only have a day tour in this beautiful place.

nice, calm and clean beach
Going there will take around 2-3 hours from Manila by private vehicle.  Commuting is not advisable since the clubhouse and swimming area is still very far from the main gate.  We passed by SCTEX to avoid heavy traffic, thereby passing by Subic Freeport and exiting Morong Gate.  It's around an hour from Subic Homes.

Please be reminded that you must have a reservation before entering this place.  They have a strict security, thus, proper identifications must be presented at the main gate.

Day tour costs Php 400.00 per person; that is for the first 20 guests.  Out of this entrance fee, Php 250.00 is consumable (for food or other items you want to purchase).  What a steal I may say!.  Succeeding guests will have to pay Php 1,000.00 each.

Food and drinks are not allowed inside.  But you can sneak in some chips and candies since they are not meticulously checking the bags upon arrival. You don't really need to bring drinks since there are complimentary juice drink and distilled water stations in the swimming area.

Upon arrival at the registration, you need to again confirm your reservation.  You will then be given a card that you should always present in every transaction you may have during your stay.

my family.. hubby is already complaining to hurry up since he's carrying a heavy bag
After checking-in, you need to go to the bath house to get complimentary towels and put your important things in the locker area.  Too bad, I don't have a picture of the shower and locker rooms.  It's like a hotel bathroom, with complete amenities and facilities - from cotton buds, shampoo to hair blower and wet suites dryer.  You really just have to bring yourself and your change clothes.

As guests, we can only stay in tables and chairs area.

Let me tour you around the swimming area.  Apologies, I wasn't able to get a lot of pictures since I was overwhelmed with this place.  Added to this is the scorching heat.  I opted to swim more and relax than photo shoot.

This is the biggest swimming pool I've seen so far; divided into jacuzzi, kiddie and adult pools.   Deepest part of this pool is only 4 feet so it's very safe for everyone.  Also, there are many life guards looking over the swimmers.  There is another separate pool for toddlers which is only two feet deep with lots of water toys for the kids to enjoy.

If you don't want to bask under the scorching heat, stay in the jacuzzi area that has a roof.  Unfortunately, water is not hot when we stayed there.  Or just swim under those covered areas like our kids did.

Not a fan of pools?  Just swim in the beach.  You can see that it is still clean with its crystal clear water.  Just be careful of some jelly fishes by just staying inside the designated area.

They also serve delectable food here.  They cost at par with Manila restos.  We love their burger pizza, grilled tuna and beef.  A single serving can be shared by two persons.  Prices range from 285-500 + 12% VAT and 10% service fee.

12" burger pizza for Php 600.00 (net price) (we all love this)

grilled tuna set for Php 330.00

pancit guisado for Php 230.00
There is also a free wi-fi service so you can update your status every now and then.

There are also some outdoor activities being offered - banana boating, kayaking, zip line and jet ski.  You will definitely not be bored here.

We have waited for the sun to set before leaving.  It was a beautiful sunset.  Oh! How I love to be a member here.  Money, please come in truckloads....

I hope to be back soon...
