We went to this hotel for our division's recent planning and team building. In a very short notice, they were able to accomodate us and been very prompt and accomodating in our inquiries.
Since, it is lean season, we were able to get the booking with discounted room rates and convention packages.
This hotel is so new with its grand opening held only last Mar. 2011. This is a great advantage since the hotel still smell fresh and with modern amenities.
Travel took around 2 hours due to heavy traffic in Manila. Land travel will only take at least one hour during light traffic.
Upon arrival , we went straight with our program since the rooms are not available yet for checking-in.

one of the conference rooms |
The conference room is with complete facilities that any company would require - from projector to speakers. Another plus point aside from it's great service and friendly staff.
Not to be missed in the review is their food. They serve delectable food. Everything they have served us is great - from snack to main meals.

During lunch break, the rooms are ready for a quick power nap. I'm quite impressed that the rooms are spacious unlike other new hotels where space is with high price. It has the amenities of a 4-star hotel (h&c shower, refrigerator with various beverages, electric kettle and free coffe, slippers, laundry bag, hair dryer, etc.). I'm not happy with the TV set though as it is already outdated.

After the team building, it's "free time" for us. So, we took the opportunity to enjoy the place especially the pool since there is nothing much to do around. Here are some amenities of this hotel.
1. Swimming Pool
You will surely enjoy the pool as it is big and with slides and clean, too.
2. Videoke night
For our dinner, they had set it up beside the pool and with videoke. After dinner, as expected, it became inuman and videoke night. The heavy rains didn't stop us in singing our hearts out. The staff were so understanding that they allowed us to sing till 12AM even if they are so scared that the videoke equipment will get wet (from the rains).
3. Basketball Court

With nothing to do in the morning, some guys were in the pool and some were here in the court while others are relaxing in their respective rooms.
4. Volleyball and Kids' Play Area

5. The Beach

Our AM snack and lunch were served along the beach. It was airy here but a little bit hot.

I would not recommend swimming in this beach as the water is dirty and the sand - super below my standards. Sorry, but you know that this is still part of Manila Bay so don't dare swim here even though there are still some fishing activities going on here.

The next morning, breakfast is buffet style in their restaurant. With a terrible headache (blame it on the tequilla and beer!), I was only able to eat a slice of toasted bread. Sayang, ang sasarap pa naman na nakahain. My colleagues said that breakfast is great especially the daing na boneless bangus.

the unfinished breakfast.. lesson learned (for the nth time hehehe) |
After swimming (again) and lunch, it's goodbye time... pero sangkatutak na photo ops muna...

My verdict? The place is great for company outings and team buildings. I would not recommend it for family get-aways since there are a lot of hotels in Manila that you can choose from. I will easily get bored here if it is only the pool that can be offered. I still prefer a resort with a great beach. But, that's just me.
